Discounted Bike Hire
Great Equipment for all Levels
As guests at L’Ancienne Poste you will benefit from a discounted rate from our local hire shop that stocks a great selection of bikes to suit all ages and sizes, ranging from standard to high spec downhill bikes. With the ever increasing popularity of electrically assisted bikes (also available), the world of mountain biking is now open for all to enjoy.
For our guests who prefer to bring their own bikes we do have safe and secure bike storage inside the lodge and a local bike mechanic is available at our request for an end of day surgery.

The Fine Details
Group Sizes
For riders, our minimum group size is four with a maximum of seven and is based on all-mountain and cross-country terrain which will include downhill routes. This means that all guests would be required to have a minimal level of fitness and technical ability.
Electric Bikes
We also recognise the up and coming trend of electrically assisted mountain biking, whilst we can offer our guided packages in this new sport, regrettably, we are unable to cater for mixed bike types in the group.
Stay Duration
Our 7-night package, based on five days of guided riding, offers you the chance to experience other adrenaline sports in the area. Alternatively, just simply relax in our local Balnea Spa.
5-night packages are available which would include four days of fully guided riding, without a rest day.

We've worked hard to renovate the Ancienne Poste creating a homely ambiance.
The Lodge maintains it's natural Pyrenean charm yet provides the perfect place to relax and unwind. With a maximum of 12 guests, you're guaranteed a personal service and a 'make yourself at home' atmosphere.
